We’re believers too. We’ve photographed Christian and Catholic couples from St Mary’s Cathedral to Hillsong Chapel, and we know when to be still and silent through your vows and prayers. But honouring your faith doesn’t mean a boring photographer: once the final blessing is said, we’re right there for the laughter and the dance floor.

In the middle of their ceremony, Josh knelt to wash Miriam’s feet, and then she washed his, following Jesus’ example of humble, servant-hearted love.

Nice to meet you

Hey there, I’m Frankie, and I’m so glad to meet you. Let’s cut to the chase: planning a wedding means there’s an endless sea of photographers to pick from, so I’m honoured you’ve landed here.

On your wedding day I’m your photographer, your calm guide and, when needed, your interim wedding planner too. I’ll gently put you and your loved ones at ease, because when you feel relaxed and fully present, that’s when the most honest photos happen.

“You are the salt of the earth” (Matthew 5:13). That verse sits at the core of Salt Shaker Films: salt preserves, and Jesus saves. We believe marriage is created by God, and your vows are made not just in front of loved ones but before Him, so it is an honour every time a couple trusts me with this milestone. My style is natural and unobtrusive, because the best moments are rarely scripted. Reverent when it matters, and never boring, because joy is part of the celebration too.

I bring the cameras, the creativity and a boatload of excitement, so you get more than photos and video: a story that speaks to your love. After hundreds of weddings, I would love to help yours flow beautifully, too.

Good to know

Are you comfortable photographing church ceremonies?

Absolutely, it’s one of my favourite parts of the day. I’ve captured weddings at churches like St Mary’s Cathedral, St John’s Anglican, All Saints Woollahra and Hillsong Chapel, and I know how to capture your vows, worship and prayers quietly and respectfully, without getting in the way of the moment.

Will a Christian photographer be too serious for the fun parts?

Not at all. I’m quiet and reverent during the ceremony, but honouring your faith doesn’t mean being boring. At the reception I’m right there for the laughter, the speeches and the dance floor, and I’ll make your photos fun.

How much do your packages cost?

Every package includes eight hours of coverage, a consultation, a client questionnaire and our wedding planning guide.

Do you place a hold on our wedding date?

Unfortunately we don’t put a wedding date on hold without a deposit. Your deposit and signed contract lock in your big day, with the balance due closer to your wedding day.

We’ve never done photos before and don’t know how to pose. Help!

That’s completely normal. It isn’t about rigid posing. I offer gentle guidance and prompts, and my role is simply to capture the genuine affection you share. By the way, none of the couples on our website are professional models!

When will we receive our wedding photos?

Teaser photos arrive within the week of the wedding. The full gallery can take up to four months during peak season.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. I have insurance for all of my equipment, as well as public liability insurance.

Do you help with our wedding day schedule?

Absolutely. Think of me as your interim wedding planner. After hundreds of weddings, I’ll help your day flow seamlessly between formalities, and we’ll plan your portraits around golden hour, when the light is softest and most flattering.
